the little things....

this morning as we pulled up to the gym, Maya called out from the backseat, "it's the gym!!!"
this means a few things to me:
1. we've been enough that she recognizes the building. that's a good sign.
2. for now it means that she gets to go play for a while with other kids BUT she knows that Mommy & Daddy got to exercise.
3. it's a way of life. she'll grow up knowing that this is what we do. we go to the gym to exercise.

this is exciting for me!

ok so i didn't get to post on Thursday because Thursdays are extremely busy days for me. so here's a recap:
it was half day so i had a piece of toast w/ peanut butter, half a chicken sandwich, a Parmesan chicken breast & about half a cup of mashed potatoes. & i was going to eat some salad but it was all wilty so i didn't. i drank lots of water and some tea (unsweet.)  that's about it. i didn't make it to the gym b/c i was at "school" (homeschool group) all day and we had a friend over that evening. but i think i got some exercise chasing around kids all day. =) 

Friday:
today has been liquids day. so all liquids and one meal. so for my one meal i had half a chimichanga @ Ted's. and some chips & queso. (i know, not very healthy) and water juice and tea all day!
today at the gym i worked on my back for an hour. (and did my shoulders too) and then got on this machine that i thought was an elliptical but it was actually a stair machine disguised as an elliptical. =) i did that for 20 mins only b/c i lost track of time and had to pick maya up b/4 i was done. but man it was hard!!! i was sweating like crazy~!

anyways.... that's all for now.
